This is Lisa's Mom. She wanted me to let everyone know about her progress.
Lisa received her transplant on Tuesday, as scheduled. I am sad to report that she passed away yesterday morning from complications.
She had such high hopes for this surgery. That it would finally bring an end to her suffering. Unfortunately, it is not the end we expected.

I've decided that I'm no longer going to sit around, waiting by the phone for a transplant call (that may or may not even come). Its not worth it. Therefore, Miss Lilith Darkfang is back online, and I'm going to start up with my drawings again. That is, if I even remember how to draw anymore... Its a bit eerie for me, looking at the picture that I had been working on the day of my first collapse. I'd nearly finished it in preparation for my 4,000 page hit... It'll be weird to finally complete it after three months...
That said, don't expect anything immediately. My energy level is still pretty low, which means that I'll be working at

Yep, I'm still hanging around. My left lung collapsed again a few weeks ago, and I just got back up and running at home again this past Wedensday. Still waiting for the call for new lungs. Just hanging around waiting for the phone to ring is almost agonizing. But I'm hanging in there and staying strong! So far, for as crappy as they are, my lungs are healing and with any luck, I'll be back at my apartment and doing my art again soon. Somehow my tablet pen got lost and I've had to order a new one, so I'll be ready to do some new art when I can. Maybe I can get some writing in too *gasp*!
